1. Scope
This policy applies to independent sellers who upload software, source code, scripts, plugins, themes, applications, templates, or other digital products to Webdeks.
2. Ownership
As between Webdeks and the seller, the seller retains ownership of seller-created products and associated intellectual-property rights. Uploading a product grants Webdeks only the limited permissions reasonably needed to host, display, market, process orders for, deliver, and administer that product through the marketplace.
3. Source-code handling
Webdeks does not automatically modify, inject code into, replace licensing in, reverse engineer, or claim ownership of independent seller software. Webdeks may access or review files when reasonably necessary for marketplace operation, security review, policy enforcement, technical support authorized by the seller, legal compliance, or investigation of a complaint.
4. Seller-controlled licensing
Independent sellers decide whether to use their own licensing or activation system, third-party licensing, or no activation system. Sellers are responsible for making license terms clear in the listing and for ensuring their licensing method complies with applicable law and third-party obligations.
5. Updates and support
Unless the listing or a separate agreement states otherwise, the seller controls and is responsible for product updates, compatibility information, documentation, activation support, and technical support for independent seller products.
6. Official Webdeks Products
A product is an Official Webdeks Product only when the listing clearly identifies it that way. Official Webdeks Products may use Webdeks Licensing and are maintained and supported according to their listings.
7. Marketplace services
Webdeks may provide listing tools, payment processing, digital delivery, order records, seller dashboards, reviews, payouts, fraud controls, and customer-support channels. These services do not transfer seller ownership to Webdeks.
8. Seller representations and responsibilities
By uploading a product, the seller represents that they have the rights and permissions needed to distribute it. Sellers must not upload infringing, unlawful, malicious, deceptive, or unauthorized content. Sellers are responsible for accurate descriptions, license terms, support promises, and required third-party notices.
9. Review, restriction, and removal
Webdeks may review, restrict, suspend, or remove a listing when reasonably necessary to address security concerns, suspected infringement, policy violations, legal requests, fraud, harmful content, or marketplace integrity. Where appropriate, Webdeks may request information from the seller before or after taking action.
10. Policy changes
Webdeks may update this policy as the marketplace evolves. Material changes will be reflected by a revised update date or other reasonable notice.
