1. Developer Protection Promise
Webdeks aims to operate a developer-friendly marketplace where ownership and responsibility are clearly identified. Independent seller products remain attributed to and controlled by their sellers, subject to marketplace policies and applicable law.
2. Seller file handling
Webdeks stores and delivers uploaded files to operate the marketplace. Access may be limited to authorized systems, personnel, contractors, or service providers where reasonably necessary for operations, security, support, legal compliance, fraud prevention, backups, or dispute handling.
3. No automatic ownership transfer
Uploading seller content does not by itself transfer ownership to Webdeks. Sellers grant Webdeks only the permissions needed to list, display, market, store, process, and deliver the product through the marketplace.
4. Reasonable review and security checks
Webdeks may perform automated or manual checks for malware, harmful behavior, policy compliance, listing accuracy, intellectual-property concerns, or buyer safety. Review does not mean Webdeks guarantees that every product is error-free, lawful in every jurisdiction, or suitable for every purpose.
5. Licensing boundaries
Independent sellers control their own product licensing unless a separate written agreement states otherwise. Webdeks does not automatically insert its own activation system into seller products.
6. Copyright and intellectual-property reports
Webdeks may investigate credible reports that a product infringes copyright, trademark, license terms, or other rights. We may request supporting information, temporarily restrict access, notify relevant parties, or remove content when appropriate.
7. Security and confidentiality
Webdeks uses reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to its marketplace role. No online system can promise absolute security, so sellers should avoid uploading unnecessary secrets, production credentials, private keys, or customer data inside product files.
8. Seller responsibilities
Sellers must secure their own development environments, remove secrets before upload, maintain authorized backups, provide accurate documentation, and respond to legitimate buyer support or rights concerns connected to their products.
9. Buyer responsibilities
Buyers must follow the product license, may not unlawfully redistribute seller source code, and should report suspected piracy, malware, or infringement through official Webdeks support channels.
10. Practical limits
This policy describes Webdeks marketplace practices and does not create ownership rights beyond applicable law or the agreements between the relevant parties. Specific products may have separate license terms that buyers and sellers must follow.
11. Contact and reports
Use the Webdeks contact page for developer-protection questions, security concerns, or intellectual-property reports. Include enough information for us to review the matter responsibly.
